Recently we salvaged over 1,000 board feet of 3 x 10 Douglas Fir. Owner of a house being renovated generously donated 17 foot long beams that were salvaged but they decided they would not use. Two uses of them are shown below. Quinn Turlington of Turlington Painting and Home Preservation refinished those 3 x 10’s and made benches and counters out of them for Provisions on State in New Haven. At Urbanminers sprawling production center we made a small bench top from it.
