Solid reclaimed ( of course) wood, 36 x 40x 18″ deep garden box. making these from parts of dismantled warehouse shelving from a salve job in New Haven. ( Loads of info about this source under “Project” New Haven Bench ” on this website). As is price is $ 75.00 .For an additional $20.00 we will add a coat of linseed oil. There is enough similar to make about 6 of these this size. We also have longer lengths of the same materials for making larger boxes. I think the material is Red Pine or some kind of Cedar. The suspicion is the shelving was made from salvaged shipping crates, some marked ” Japan” and ” Product of Great Britain ” ,and it appears to be from the early 1900’s.
